Insert a GIF-image in the front panel

Is it possible to insert a company logo in the front panel?

yea this is very easily done.But you cannot just do a simple import but what you can do is open the picture that you want to put on the panel. Select it(edit, copy) then go to the front panel of your VI and paste it in. Then you can resize it as needed.

But animated gifs cannot be resized by LabVIEW (they do animate in LV7).

LabVIEW menu option: Edit >> Import Picture from File.
Then press Ctrl-V (paste) while on your front panel.

You can even import GIF animation sequences (*.gif files) onto your front panel (this was supported even in LV6.1), for that touch of coolness. 🙂
