Install LabView 2023 Q1

My company has decided that we're to use LabView 2023 Q1 (32 bit). However, on a new PC I'm unable to install this version. Whenever I try to install this specific version, somehow, I end up with LabView 2023 Q3 (32 bit).

I've tried to install it with the NI Package manager. If I select LabVIEW 2023 Q1 (32 bit) the install runtime opens, I accept the licence, and then I see that the install software wants to install LabVIEW 2023 Q3 (32 bit). If I continue installing then 2023 Q3 will get installed.

I've also tried to manually download the installer from the NI site. I get a link in the windows start menu that literally states "NI LabVIEW 2023 Q1 (32 bit)" but when I open it and select 'about LabVIEW' it states 'Version 2023 Q3 (32-bit) 23.36f6'. (Also, the ctrl+scroll zooms rather than changes classes)

If I open the NI Package manager to install the LabVIEW Runtime and select 2023Q1 and 32-bit, the install button is grayed out. The install button at 2023 Q3 32-bit is not grayed out however.

Is anyone familiar with this problem, or has a solution?

Kind regards,

Koen

That's sound really odd to me.  It almost sounds like NI has determined that LabVIEW 2023 Q1 is "so buggy" that they are forcing you to install an equivalent version (2023 Q3), particularly if there is no (obvious) "down-time" in terms of how long you can keep using the product (based on the type of license or subscription you choose).

Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I can comment ...
