Install builder problem (only with RTE)

Hi all,

Running Labview Professional 8.6 on XP.

We are having a problems with the instllation builder on *any* project we create. 

The builder works fine as long as no RTE is inlcuded with the build.  However once we inlcude the 8.6 RTE and the VISA RTE, the instillation builder fails.  During the build, it asks for components from a previous project, even though there are no components included from other projects.

As I said, even with a very simple "dumb" VI we get the same error.

Any suggestions?

This is Marcus from Applications Engineering.  Would it be possible for you to post a screen shot of what LabVIEW is asking for you to include in your installer so that I'll be able to better assist you?

Hi Marcus,

We were able to resolve the issue today. Our Windows registry file had become corrupted, starting the search for un-needed components.  Apparently withe software re-install the registry remains corrupted. A manual clean-up was performed.  This was a real pain to track down, but all is well now.
