Installation CD location

Hi all,

My LabVIEW DVDs for installation are located in a server with each DVD in a different folder.  After I installed, DVD1, setup would ask me where is DVD2.  Is there a way to tell setup where are all the DVD located at during the start of the setup, so that the whole installation can run all the way through?  I want to run the whole thing over night without any user interation.  thanks!

Hi Yik,

What is the exact folder structure for your DVD files? If your DVD1 and DVD2 folders are in the same folder, you should not be prompted for the second DVD.

If you are going to be installing on multiple computers, there is a way to run the installer silently with a spec file that will automatically install the components you have selected. Here is a KnowledgeBase article on the subject. To create a spec file you will need to run the installer once normally.
