Installer: Cannot write registry key which data begins with #

Hi all,

It seems to be impossible to install a registry key which data begins with the # sign.

Is there a workaround available for that like \# in C++?

Hi Jonas,

Which VI are you using? I tried to implement the example VI "Windows Registry Manipulation.vi" from LabVIEW2013. I changed the String Value from "LabVIEW" to "#LabVIEW" and it seems to work.

The used VI and result screenshot are attached to this message.
