Installing LabVIEW FPGA Compile Server on alternate computer

Is there a provision for installing the LabVIEW Compile Server on an alternate computer other than the one that LabVIEW code is being developed on?  If so, what is the process for installing it? (which components need to be installed)  So far I have only come across help files detailing how to use it once it's already installed somewhere else.

This is a great question, because it is always nice to have an alternate computer to do compiling of FPGA code while you continue to develop on the localhost. The procedure for this is to begin installation of LabVIEW FPGA on the computer you wish to make a remote server. In that installation you can customize to only include the compile server components. You will also need the corresponding version of labVIEW runtime which can be obtained through the drivers and updates page.
