Installing LabView 2014 on Mac

Solved!
Go to solution
I am trying to install LabView on my MacBookPro running OS X 10.10.3 using my University's licence. The university's download page has the following list of files I could download: Disc 01 - Core Software (Windows) Disc 02 - Core Software (Windows) Disc 03 - Core Software (Windows) Disc 04 - Core Software (Windows) Disc 05 - FPGA Module, Additional Xilinx Compilation tools Disc 06 - Labview Professional Development System (MacOS 10.7.0 or later / Linux) Disc 07 - NI Device drivers So I downloaded disc 6, which was a file named lv-spring-2014-d6.iso and mounted it. The mounted image is named 2013FPGAXILINX. It contains 'Linux' and 'Windows' folders which seem to have install files for FPGA Compile Worker. There is no installer for LabView Mac. It seems like my university might have mixed up the disc order/labelling and what I downloaded is actually disk 5. Should I try downloading the other disks and see if they have the Mac installer - but that would take ages? How do I proceed?

I don't see how anyone here can help with fixing how your school has set its download page.

When I worked for a university and had similar problems, I ended up calling the boss of the person in charge of the software management and requested the orignal physical disk be sent to  me.  They never could get it right on line.

Your idea of downloading other disks might be the fastest thing to try. You probably have enough bandwidth that you can download all the disks befroe you could figure out who the (ir)responsible person is.

Good Luck!
