Instr.lib missing after LabVIEW installation

Solved!
Go to solution

Greetings,

We have a PXIe-1062Q that  had LabVIEW profesional and FPGA modul (2012 SP1) installed. Due to some issues we had to uninstall both of them.

I uninstalled someother drivers thinking that they would be installed with the new software installation. Now Ive installed both programs back again and try to run an

application tool (.exe in LabVIEW) but I get the messages on the attached images. I can send more images if needed.

I have relatively few experience in LabVIEW and dont know how to solve the problem. I would appreatiate any help.

Thanks in advance!

Jorge Garza

Make sure you install LabVIEW first, then the drivers.

Hi,

on the second screen there are IMAQ SubVIs missing. Do you have Vision Software installed?

You need the Vision Acquisition Software and the Vision Module to use IMAQ VIs.

LabVIEW and FPGA is not enough for this.

Thanks,

I reinstalled LabVIEW and the drivers and the errors are gone.

The only thing now is that when I start NIMAX and the license manager I get this errors (see images).

LabVIEW is working but I wanted to check if the installed hardware was detected. Could you advise on how to solve them, I dont whant to uninstall and install again.

Thanks in advance,

Jorge

You can do as the error says and go to www.ni.com/info and type in the info code. There is a list of steps to perform.

Thanks,  I used the code for the error but it was not on the list CmxExecutionThreadPool::DoWorkNonUI

I also tried creating a technical report but the NIMAX got stuck and didnt work anymore. Attached are the files that appear on the error message

when I open the NIMAX. Also I tried creating the report from the command window and only got a folder as result.

If anyone has a hint thanks!

Jorge

I would recommend to install the driver again.

Use the newest one:
