Intensity background xy graph is possible?

Hi, I am trying to display the background graph color respect to the amplitude value. The black plot mark the background color. Is it possible in XY graph or any way to accomplish it?.

You can superpose an xy graph with transparent backgroud over an intensity graph. Here is a very quick example I made (still need a bit of alignment but this gives an idea of the result).
