Interfacing ZED UV Sensor with Labview

Hi there,

I'd like to use the following sensor with Labview:
Name of sensor: ZED D-VUV 185nm
Communication: ZCON-protocol via RS485 (for use with ZED SmartMeter or ZED Sensor Configurator PC Software)
optional: ModBus RTU, 19200bps

DigiSensorMonitor by ZED:

I seem to have communication with the application by ZED as you can see in the picture above. Should i have to have modbus library installed to implement communication with this sensor with labview? Can you please help?

It's possible, but you may receive a raw data. Then you will need to transfer that raw data to a processed data with some logic. So will be much easier for you to use the modbus lib.

Information on using Modbus on these sensors is only from ZED.  I am looking for the ZCon informations, but, regular Modbus commands can be found in the attached file I obtained from ZED.  Hope it helps.
