Hi,
I am using a computer on which Silverlight isn't installed (the microprocessor doesn't have SSE instructions so I am not able to install it). While installing Labview 11 I got a message saying SilverLight isn't installed. I will test my labview program tomorrow (recording analog inputs with a Labjack U6 unit (usb connexion)).
Could anyone tell me if in this particular use of Labview (recording analog inputs + savind data to a file) SilverLight is compulsory?
If needed, here is the computer :

Dear User,
thank you so much for your post. Mostly silver light is used when you need to configure a remote target from National Instruments; this is done through the measurement and automation explorer (MAX). So as far as I can tell you will not need silverlight.

What OS version are you using on this? 512MB for anything better but XP Embedded sounds really very short!

Dear Ninlmartijn,
Thanks for your answer. Indeed, I have tried running my program and things are fine.
Rolfk, I am using windows XP, things are still a bit slow even after having deleted a lot of extra functions, but it is fine for the use : just using it as a monitoring computer on which one program labview is saving data to a file, nothing else.
Regards,
User
