I'm trying to implement a server at school to display an electrical system and provide control to change the loads. I'm hoping to provide these abilities through the general web browser.

LabVIEW 6.1 has the ability for control from a web browser without the necessity of creating ActiveX controls as in previous versions of LabVIEW. Just publish any VI to the Web server. You need a run-time engine plug in for the browser and the default license only permits a single user at a time.
