Is it possible to use RIO without the FPGA toolkit?

We're planning to use RIO units as a replacement for PC units, however we are not really interested in the FPGA in the RIO.

We already have LabVIEW RT (use it to program cFP controllers), is it possible to program the RIO without the FPGA module?

Just to answer my own question - yes it is...

I'm not sure if the FPGA module is required when using some of the RIO expansion modules though.
