Is it true that bundle by name can cause FPGA compiles to fail?

Well, the features of the project libraries are all luxuries I can go without--we don't actually have any name conflicts, and code module icon templates work--so basically the move to virtual folders is a solution. Now that I don't use project libraries my code compiles and executes exactly as expected and as simulated--bundle by name is no longer causing error 1000. My problem is solved. If you need my code to debug this problem I would be happy to provide it, but I need to get back to writing that sonar driver.
