Hi ShotSimon,
i think it is not. If i search about it on the NI Website it looks like it is an additional package.

The last versin of the Suite we recieved did NOT include the SDE. It did include the State Chart Toolkit.

I BELEIVE the SDE is available as a seperate add-on.

My understanding, there are two state diagram editors. One is free as mentioned in the previous post (I do not believ it has been updated sing 7.1) and the new vesion, which you need to buy.

It IS included in the Developer Suite Core ! I run this package and the SDE is a toolkit I use almost daily !
Just to clarify if needed : we speak about the State Diagram Editor and not the new Statechart Module.

JB,

Do your comments apply to the most recent version of LV?

If so I have to ge back and look again.

Did you find it on the "add-ons" disk?

Hoping for good news!

Developer Suite package from August 2007 --> LV 8.5

The SDE installs automatically with LabVIEW. It appears neither in the installer selection window nor in the list of the installed programs (Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs >> National Instruments Software). Therefore,
these instructions are not applicable for this toolkit and it is unfortunately impossible (AFAIK) to install it for multiple LabVIEW versions.

You should find it in the Addons group of the LV functions palette.

Wow such an enthusiastic response.  I think from now I'll just put State Diagram in all my posts 🙂
Unfortunately now I'm thoroughly confused and still don't know if I have any State Diagram <fill in blank>? Or where that wonderful tool may or may not be located 🙂
I do not see anything related to State Diagrams under add-ons.
FYI...I just got my NI developers Suite disks for Feb 2008 and an email notice to download online as well.  I'm holding off to see if it's in my existing software.
I'm currently running the latest version before that but only have the Internet Toolkit installed.
I do not have an add-ons disk just one labeled Toolkits, unless addons is hidden in another disk now.  I'm reinstalling this.

SS,

I submitted a request to get this question answered officially by one of NI's Application Engineers.

I can say more but I would only be speculating based on my experience.
