LabVIEW RT version 6 is not released yet as of today (4/23/2001), but when it is released, it will support datasocket clients. LabVIEW RT version 6 will not support datasocket servers on the the embedded platforms like PXI, so you will still need a Windows PC to run the datasocket server.
