I hope this isn't too obvious of an question. I have cRIO9012 with 9111 chassis connected to PC via ethernet cable.
At the moment the, whole solution works with NI9853 HS CAN card in slot 4. The goal is to modify solution, so that is will be able to service both NI9852 (LS CAN) and (NI9853 HS CAN) where one of the cards would be placed in slot 4. The proposed end result was to have one set of executables where you can programatically change what card is used via TCP command.
Now as far as I am concerned the cards configurations needs to be set in project manager prior deployment (for example (Slot 4, NI 9853)) for given Chassis, which in turn is set for given cRIO. Only solution then, would be to duplicate the whole cRIO setup where NI9853 would be replaced with NI9852, perform necessary modification and during operation launch diffrent executables for setups with NI9852 and NI9853 respectively.
Does anybody however know of a way to achieve the proposed endresult, or is that unachievable?
