Issue with Excel Set Cell Dimension VI Getting error Error -41110 occurred at NI_ReportGenerationToolkit.lvlib

Hi I search for Error -41110 and found some but none contained Excel Set Cell Dimension VI. I also search on how to use this VI but could not find anything on it that helped. I did a screen capture of what I am trying to do which I added to this post. I am new using this VI and I wish my company would upgrade Me to a new version instead of using version 8.6. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Do a Web search for LabVIEW and Windows Compatibility.  Also do a Web search for LabVIEW and Microsoft Office Compatibility.

Armed with this information, go to your company and show them that they need to get you a PC running Windows XP (LabVIEW  8.6 isn't supported by Windows 7) and Office 2010 (or earlier, but not Office 2013 or 2016).  If they want you to run on a modern PC, running Windows 10, compatible with current versions of Microsoft Office, they will need to upgrade you to at least LabVIEW 2015 SP1 (and I'd strongly suggest at least LabVIEW 2016).  I suspect the wisdom of purchasing a 5-year-old version of LabVIEW (2015 or 2016) instead of the current Version (LabVIEW 2020) will also not make much sense, so if this is something they really want to run on a modern PC running a modern (and supported) Operating System, they need to provide you a LabVIEW/Office environment that will work.

[Having said this, if you are a really good LabVIEW developer with, say, 5-10 years experience, you might be able to get LabVIEW 8.6 to generate code that will run on a modern PC with Windows 10, but who knows about whether 15 years ago, NI anticipated how to "hook into" the 10-years-in-the-Future version of Excel ...  It will undoubtedly take you an extra six months of hard work to accomplish this without upgrading LabVIEW to a more current version, but your firm might consider this is "cost-effective", particularly if you are working for free and they don't need to consider your salary in their cost estimates ...]

Thanks for your reply back and yes I have been running on 7, I will have to do a screen shot and post it. I think I might have found the solution but haven't had a chance to try it yet
