Keithley 2700 driver bug?

Hi,

I think there is bug in the Configure Filter.vi (ke2700.llb).
In the string constant "\s%.;:AVER:WIND\s%f\n;" the " \s%."
elements are wrong.

Hi there

In my version of the driver (09/2004) the format string is ":AVER:WIND\s%f\n;"

The difference is "\s%.;", this is a blank ("\s") followed by the declaration of "." as the decimal point to use ("%.;").

Without  "%.;" depending of the local settings a "," may be used as the decimal point leading to parsing erros inside the KE27xx.

So i think your format string should be correct.

Do you have any problems with the driver?

Best regards
chris

Can you define "does not work"? Are there any error codes returned from the device (ke27xx Error Query.vi)?

Can you post the string transferred to the device?

What happens if you use "%.;" without the preceeding blank "\s" ?

Best regards
chris

Hi,

in attachments you can see two diagrams, one (source) that cause the error message and another (corrected) that does not.

Regards,

Sorry, been in holidays.

The error messag states "Command header error". I assume this is because of the heading "\s".

Best regards
chris
