Keithley 6514 vi

Hi, I'm trying to configure the Keithley 6514 using GPIB (PCI). I downloaded the vi's available from the Keithley site, however they don't enable me to do simple measurements or to change simple things, like sampling rate, or to set ranges.
Has anyone designed a vi for the 6514 which I could use?

Are you using serial or gpib IO and what is the error message if there is any?
I did some programming and found it a good working instrument.
Does it respond to *idn or is there no communication at all.

Hi,

I'm using GPIB,and I do have a connection with the instrument. However I'd like to have a vi with which I can regulate the # samples, sampling rate, ranges etc.
Such a vi is not available for the 6514 (electrometer). It is available for the 2000 (multimeter) but I get error messages (-113, -420) of which I cannot find where they originate from.
