LABView 8.6

Hello everyone,

My company has purchased a LABView 8.6 full version but the installation CD is missing. Is there anywhere I can download the Software. We also have a full Version of the 2018 professional but for old project I need to be able to open it with LV 8.6. The latest Version I can find in the download section is LV 2009.

(try to) talk to your local NI support and ask for the download package.

Please be prepared to verify your ownership including any license numbers/details...

Why?

LabVIEW 2018 can open very old files if it needs to (I've opened back to 6.1, and I think it can go back to 5.0 but I never tried).

It also has an option to save files as old versions back to 8.0, so it can do 8.6.

Do you need to install it on a Windows XP machine or some other old system?

Also, it may have changed but last I heard, to get NI to give you access to old versions, you need to not only have a license but also a current subscription or SSP.  Do you have either of those?

Our company archives all old versions that we use, but 8.6 is not among them.  We skipped from 7.1 to 2011.  If you do get a download, be sure to archive it.
