Calling on any LabVIEW newbies, novices (even Veterans & Knights),
I recently discovered a section relating to learning about LabVIEW and programming techniques on the NI website.
I have no idea how many people know of it, whether it's a hidden gem or whether it is widely known.
Anyway, I have found the LabVIEW Badges and Learning Paths extremely useful in learning and gaining a grasp of the basic concepts of LabVIEW,
It's a great place to start learning, and even some experienced LabVIEW users find it useful as it makes you aware of many concepts and thought-provoking ideas that you can apply in your code!
You can find the badges (assessments) here:
Badges - National Instruments - Explore Learning Paths by Application Area
Let me know if this helps! 🙂

If someone has little job experience, the badges tell me that the person at least good enough to get some badges, which will be equivalent to some real-world experience. It's a more subtle version of a certification. (I got my CLD for exactly that reason; that is, to compete with developers that had many more years experience than me.)
