LED Lauflicht

I'm going to use this in my app by changing the LEDs to red and calling my application "KITT". Now for some speech synthesis VIs........"Michael....don't use the turbo boost!"

Hi Henrik.

Nice work Smiley Happy

Now we only need some analog output soft/hardware to drive a real LED line - and a car ofcourse Smiley Wink
Best regards,
GerdW

Sorry I no longer have LabVIEW 7.0, but sometimes it is easiest to compute the triangle wave before the loop and just index into it.

This eliminates all these shift registers and extra comparisons and logic in the loop.

Here's a quick example for 24 LEDs. You might want to tweak the ramp a little bit to avoid duplicate elements at the ends.

OK, here's a slightly tweaked version that eliminated duplicates at the ends.

If only I spoke German.  Though I suppose I could have picked out "...Knight Rider Auto von David H..." (which once again proves my theory, Germans love David Hasselhoff Smiley Wink )

Here's my solution- definitely not as cool as Henrik's, but it works

Hi Tom,

I really would appreciate it, if you could change your theory to "(some|minority of|having bad music taste) Germans love David H." Smiley Happy
Best regards,
GerdW
