LV 7.1 cannot run...

After uninstalling LV 7.1, i re-install it, but my problem is that on lauching the LV 7.1 a message box appears with this message "The requested feature is unavailable on "localhost"". I don't understand why does happen?
On the same machine, i've LV 6.1 installed and it run well.
On license manager, LV 6.1 and LV 7.1 are registered well.
What can i do? i've tried yet to reinstall, but always the same error...

Regards, Tony.

Well I'm not sure exactly what your error is but "localhost" is the designation used by network services to access other network services running on your local PC. I also know that LabVIEW sets up at least one (if not more--I'm not sure) of these services for internal communication when it runs.

So it sounds like either LabVIEW can't set up its service properly due to an internal problem or network driver problems - or - possibly not being able to set up a service is resulting in a message later when another process is being prevented from connecting to that service on 'localhost'.

What happens after the error occurs? LabVIEW just shuts down?

Just a thought... Have you changed any of your network hardware / software settings recently? What about your firewall? If you have a firewall make sure it's working and that LabVIEW is authorized on it... if it's not authorized the firewall could be stopping LabVIEW's internal communications.
