LV and VI Crash due to no DeFault Case in a Case Structure

I have noticed if I am working on some code and save and exit when a case structure has no default case set that the next time I go to opem my VI not only will it not open, but LV crashes.

The work around to get it fixed is to run the VI analyer, slect the broken VI error then go fix the case structure and save the VI.

with my LV8.5 there's no problem in saving case structures with no default case... See attachment!

Which LV version do you use? What else is happening in the vi? Can you attach such a broken vi?
