Hi!

Currently installing  LV 2009, the installation crashes after few seconds (see jpg attached) saying that it could not install LabWindows/CVI RT (while not asked when setting what to install on my comp)...

Any solution ?

Configuration :

Windows XP SP3

Language on the system : French

Language of LV : English

Hi zyl7,

Could you please shed some more information of where you got the installer from?

Also, whether it is able to install in some other machine successfully?

Whether you can install on some other Windows OS successfully?

What are the NI Softwares already installed in your system?

Do you have any software that you suspect to be interfering with the installation?

Hi NitinD,

I got the instaler from NI : my company receives a DVD package every quarter.

One of my colleague tried to install it too using the DVD and the installation failed the same way.

My colleague and I have LV 8.5 and LV 8.6.1 also installed on our respective computers.

I downloaded the evaluation version of LV2009 and installed it on my computer... and it works ! I then used the DVD to install other modules such as FPGA and RT... So I guess the 'DVD 1 of 5' we have is corrupted... :smileysad:
