NI RIO software issue

Good Morning,

I want to ask the following: my cRIO 9073 device works with NI RIO 3.1.0 while in my PC the NI RIO 3.1.1 is installed. Can this cause malfunction? I am working with LabVIEW 8.6.1.

You have to have the same software Version of any driver or component on your RIO like on your Host PC. Check this under the Software Tab of the cRIO in MAX when you go to custom software installation.

Thanks for the response. I have another question: Does the software upgrade affects the start up vi of a cRIO?

If you just do the Software-Update it should not affect an Application or Startup VI.
