LV2010 Destinations don't show in Build Preview

I am setting up the Destinations page in the LV2010 application Build, when I go and generate a Preview on the Preview tab, the Destinations are not shown in the preview. Is this the way it works? Or is this actually a part of building the installer and not the exe build?

All I want to do is add a file or folder (in the exe directory) to the build setup. All my added files are being put in the LV support directory...

Ok, looks like the Installer puts (copies) directories needed for the build. In the Build, Build Preview doesn't show additonal files since an exe is stand-alone application.... I guess that right? The place to include dynamic files are in the Build Source Files tab... other files config txt etc have no place outside the exe. Confusing at first since there is also a Support Directory folder for files of this type.

The Installer Source Files tab is where this is done.

Hi Richjoh,

It would help if you could tell us what you are trying to do?

You are correct in an exe is a stand alone of application (you need the run time engine install of course). There are few slick tricks that you can do have labview give you the appearance of multiple files, but again that would depend on what you can do.
