LV6.1 Design of Controls

I do not like that much the new 'skin' of many controls in labview 6.1 and I'm working on a big
project which was done witj LV5.1 and the mixed new/old design is really awfull.
There seems to be two possible solutions:
1) Is it possible to switch the design in LV6.1 to 'old style'?
2) Is it possible to update the designs in an old VI so they look all the same new way?

If neither does work solution 3 is I keep going with LV5.1 😉

THanks for any hints

The old controls are simply one level down on the palettes. If you tack
them up, things are very similar to before. They are located near the
bottom in the center column, right next to the dialog style of controls.

There is no automatic way to update the panel to the 3D controls. You
can popup and replace the controls with the related 3D control on the
panels that show to users, and this will work, but things will need to
be nudged and resized a bit to fit into the panel. This resizing of the
controls is the main reason we didn't do anything automatic.

You might also wonder about the Create C
ontrol and Create Indicator menu
items. Once 3D items are on the panel, or if the panel is empty, LV
will make 3D controls. If the panel has only Classic controls, then
that is what LV will make.
