LabVIEW 11.0 This is the application template and cannot be run alone

Hello all,

                           After i complete building my executable & installer file, When i try to run my execuatable file then a message pops up stating - 'This is the application template and cannot be run alone'

After i try 4-5 times it runs or when i rebuild my project it works (Magically)?

Does anybody else encounter same problem ?

I already installed run time engine & following same procedure from last 2 years, Never found this problem before.

what is the reason for this & what is the solution ?

I have the same issue. Sometimes the compiled exe works, sometimes I get the error message. No idea what makes the difference, though.

Using LV2011 SP1 on WinXP SP3 (32bit).

                            Will let you know if i got some solution. But what i found that this pose problem only if i run exe file. If i install & run then it wont pose problem.

Good to know. I never created an installer if the exe file showed that problem, so I wasn't aware of this.
