After downloading the 890 MB file from NI, I ran the installer and received the following error:
Zip damaged: file c:\national instrument downloads\labview 64-bit\2010\products\labview64\part04\mib.cab: Bad CRC. Possible cause: file transfer error.
I repeated the download and got the same error.
Does NI know about this?

CB,
Thank you for reporting this. After I saw this post, I went and downloaded the LabVIEW 2010 64 bit version on a Windows 7 PC. I didn't have any issues with the download. What OS are you trying to install LabVIEW 64 bit on? LabVIEW 64 bit is only compatible with Windows 7 x64, Windows Vista x64, and Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit).
If you are attempting to install it on an approved OS, can you post a screenshot of the error?

StephanieO,
I am running a brand new installation of Windows 7 64-bit. I should have been clearer: the problem is not in the download process. It crops up during about 1/3 of the way through the unzip process for the downloaded file, 2010LV-64bit.exe.
The image is attached.
Thanks!

Rather than re-running the evaluation downloader, I found an installer on the NI site that worked correctly. I'm good to go.

Thank you for letting us know. Just so we know, where you installing the bad version of LabVIEW 2010 x64 bit from?

I believe I ran http://ftp.ni.com/evaluation/labview/ekit/other/downloader/2010LV-WinEng_downloader.exe.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
I have the same problem.
The file mib.cab seems damaged during the download.
This is the error if I unzip with WINZIP.
I am in my company PC so there is the proxy/server/antivirus/firewall, and I don't know what else trhat can cause a problem,
This evening I'll download it from home and I'm sure everything will be fine.

In fact I was correct.
I downloaded the installation zip file from my home and it installs correctly.
To be correct, I am working with LV 2010 32 bit demo.

Same problem here,
Installed LV2010 eval at home, without any problems.
At work I got the same "Bad CRC" Error
