I installed LabVIEW 2026 last Friday. During the process it crashed and I had to start again.
At the end of the process everything appeared to be OK and I went back to a project I was working on in LabVIEW 2025. When I opened the main vi it was now broken because there was no database toolkit.
The installation of 2026 had removed the database connectivity toolkit from both 2024 and 2025 versions.
I have been trying to get them back since with no luck.
I have used package manager to repair everything I could think of. I have installed all the patches it recommended.
This morning I used it to remove 2024 and re-install it still.
NI technical support seem to have gone missing since 12:33 yesterday when they sent me some links to articles that didn't help.
Has anybody encountered the same issue?
Does anyone know of a solution?
Is my only solution to remove all NI software from my PC and re-install it all again?
Thanks for your time.

I have solved it.
In the lvaddoninfo.json file the minimum version was set to 26. I have changed it to 24 and Hey Presto like magic it appears in the palette
Now to tell NI support I fixed my problem.
