LabVIEW 6.1 will not install

After a installing an IE patch, my XP system was almost unusable. Luckily, I was able to restore it with XP System Restore, but that was after I un-installed all the NI LV 6.1 Base software.

Now, when I try to re-install LV 6.1 complete, it says it will only install 'Drivers' and 'NI-Motion'.

My system is as clean as I know how to with Norton SystemWorks, deletion of the NI folder, and deletion of the NI group in the registry.

Anyone with an idea?

Hi,

You probably have some loose NI registry keys that still need to be removed. Make sure no NI entries appear in Add/Remove Programs, and that you ran the registry cleaner with Norton CleanSweep. Here is a trialware registry cleaner from G-Lock Software that may be more thorough than Norton's. I hope this helps!

I cleaned up the system with the recommended software, and it still would not install, so I choose custom, and selected the options I wanted. This worked, however, the STRUCTURES toolset does not show up while in the diagram.
