LabVIEW 8.5.1 hangs while working with Statechart. Whenever working with Statecharts - Diagram.vi, open an existing state the problem will arise and LabVIEW hangs. The only solution is to end the application from the Task manager. The next time while opening, the recovery starts which also cannot finish, that also hangs. This is happening only while working with statecharts.
