LabVIEW 8.6 + SourceGear Vault is not working

Hi there,

when I try to configure LabVIEW with Vault as source control client i get the error message "2972 - An internal error occured during the source control operation." (see picture)

So, what causes the problem and how can i configure the source control to work with my client?

This knowledge base lists various source control providers that have been tested with LabVIEW - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/41FBD516D8BC1DED862576AF007061B2

SourceGear appears to be developed by the same company that wrote SourceOffsite. SourceOffsite was found not to work with LabVIEW so it's possible that SourceGear has similar issues.

Hi George,

thank you for your reply. The problem is not that Vault isn't work in general, it's not working on my PC. I already worked with that combination, but i got a new PC and now it's not. A colleague is also working with LV 8.6 and Vault and it's working fine. So I try to find out how it can run on my PC again.

Thanks for the clarification. It's good to hear that the provider is working on other computers. As you have indicated, you will need to investigate further why your PC doesn't work with SourceGear.

My question is what problem generates this error message. Then I can find out why it's not working. Vault client alone is working.

The error is vague but it could be due to the source control provider's DLL not being loadable.
