I recently upgraded to Windows 8 and started having this issue with LabVIEW 2012 32-bit, Version 12.0f3, using an FPGA Plugin with a cRIO 9075.
I say "Crashing" with paranthesis because the program doesn't necessarily stop; it literally just disappears. I can open up Windows 8 task manager and the program is still running in the background. All of the settings I previously had while running are still performing (i.e.: my mass flow controller is still set at the LPM that I set it to before the program "disappears"). I just have no way, to my knowledge, of restoring the program without having to "End Task" in the task manager (which stops the program from running and destroying ALL of my data that I am writing to Excel).
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I tried searching but nobody seems to have the same issue... Hopefully this is a simple fix.
Thank you.

Hi Kaaji1359,
It is possible that others on the forum may have found a work around for this particular issue, but the LabVIEW FPGA module is not supported on Windows 8. I have linked a list of all of the things that are or are not supported on Windows 8. I apologize for the inconvenience and I encourage you to check back if/when the FPGA module does support Windows 8.

Thanks, I very much appreciate the response. It's still odd that it runs for a random amount of time and then crashes, but still runs in the background...
Has anyone else experienced this or have a potential workaround? Is there a compatability I can use with the FPGA Module?
