Hi,
Does NI released Touch Panel Module for Linux?
Thanks,

Hi,
To make it more clear, I have a VI in Windows XP and I want to convert it to an Embedded Linux from TI called Arago Project. By using NI Touch Panel Module I can convert it to Windows CE 4.2 and 5 and Windows Embedded Standard Device. I read some articles said that NI Embedded Development Module is for converting VIs to any OS. I want to make sure this is the proper way to do that and is there any other way like adding something to Touch Panel that I have?
Thanks,
Ali

If you are going to refer to some articles, post the links. The embedded module has nothing at all to do with converting VIs from one OS to another. The NI touch panel devices do not run Linux as you already mentioned so I do not know why you have that in your subject.
If you want to convert VIs from windows to Linux, you need to purchase LabVIEW for Linux. Note that only a few distributions of Linux are supported.

Hi Dennis,
Here is the article I read about LabVIEW Embedded Development Module. Page 1-1, "Taking Your Graphical Design to Any 32-Bit Microprocessor".

About the topic you are right. I have the VI on Windows XP. I converted it to WinCE 5.0 with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module and it works perfectly. I have LabVIEW for Linux and I converted the VI to Linux and it works on PC. Now, I want to convert it to Embedded Linux that works on ARM microcontroller.
I am looking for LabVIEW Touch Panel Module for Linux because the only supported platform for that is Windows.

I don't think that creating C code for an embedded tool chain is the same thing as creating code for embedded Linux or embedded windows. You may be able to port it to an ARM processor with one of the supported tool chains loaded.
As you already seem to know, the NI touch panels only support the stated windows platform. If you have a different touch panel than one made by NI and that has Linux, then use LabVIEW for Linux to try to port it there.
If you want suggest that NI add embedded Linux as a supported OS for it's touch panels, then post to the NI Idea Exchange.

On Windows by installing LabVIEW Touch Panel Module I am able to convert it to Embedded Windows. But on Linux I just have LabVIEW for Linux without any module and I am wondering if there is any Linux-based module to convert the VI to Embedded Linux?
Can you please give me a link to these supported toolchains? It seems this is the only solution for me.

The toolchains are available from the micro vendor, I believe. Check the links at the embedded page for more information. Note the price for the embedded ARM module and note that you would be discarding the linux option.
I misunderstood what you were doing and the LabVIEW for Linux module would not seem to do any good.
