There is a driver for that instrument
here and according to that page, the supported interfaces are GPIB, Ethernet, or serial. A GPIB connection will require a controller in the pc. With the Ethernet connection, you could connect the scope to your LAN with a standard network cable. You could also connect it directly to your pc. If you do a direct connect, you would need a crossover network cable. For a serial connection, you would probably need a null-modem serial cable and a serial port on the pc. A serial connection is going to be slow for waveform transfers. A GPIB connection is going to be pretty fast with low latency but requires a controller (~U$500) and special cable. The Ethernet connection is going to be fast but with a higher latency. If my memory is correct, an Ethernet connection is a bit more limited in the trigger options. I'm not sure if you can do a bus trigger like you can with GPIB. If you go with the Ethernet connection, you might want to consider using a dedicated NIC card in the pc and on a different subnet than your network.
