LabVIEW--> XL or MatLAB--> XL

Hello,
Would anyone know if communicating with Excel through MatLAB would harm my program (slow it doen, crash)?

Hi Ivanka,

You can use LabVIEW to call MatLAB and MatLAB can call Excel in turn. This would slow down your VI because there is one more layer of interaction now (LabVIEW - MatLAB - Excel - Application).

Hi Ankita,
I am having major difficulties communicating with XL. When I run teh subvi's on their own there are no errors, but As soon as I run a vi with sub vi's (which are communicating with XL) I have errors of Null Refnum as input and I think something else as well. I once solved it by putting in a small wait at the beginning of my subvi, but this has not helped in other subvi's.

I am quite worried, because I have a deadline of Friday and this issue is a HUGE problem. I am attaching my program if it helps at all.
