I have encountered the same error using LV 2009, and have had no success using the 2009 - 2009 f3 patch suggested here. Is there an alternative solution for the 2009 version?

Thanks in advance,

J

Hi jifarq,

your VI opened with LV2011 and saved for previous in LV2009…

(Lots of missing subVIs, but no problems to load/open!)

Best regards,

Hi. I'm obtaining the same error to open the program attached. This program was made in labview 7.1 and I am trying to open it in Labview 12.0f3, 64bits. I tried the solution to add a line in the .ini file but it didn't work. Does anybody have suggestion? Best Regards.

  • I cannot open it in the newest LabVIEW (32bit) either.
  • What line did you add to the INI and why?
  • Why is the VI so big?
  • Are you sure the VI was not saved without front panel?
  • Any particular reason you are using 64bit LabVIEW?
