LabVIEW load error code 3: Could not load front panel

Solved!

Yes, but I'm not sure if I did use the right ini file, because at this PC there are two versions of labview 2011, the German and the English one

you find the LabVIEW.ini file in

\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011

Do you mean, two installations of LabVIEW same version but in different languages ?

It is not recommended/possible to install LabVIEW in the same version in different languages.

the German version was installed but didn't work correctly. we uninstall the German one and install the English version. however there are two LV 2011 folders.

you can install LabVIEW in different languages but not same version, so if you install LabVIEW 2011 in English and LabVIEW 2010 in German, you will find  two folder LabVIEW 2011 and LabVIEW 2010 in

\Program Files\National Instruments\

Hello,

I'm getting the same error code using LabVIEW2011, and changing the .ini file did not work.

I was adding a terminal to the SubVI and the icon did not update or save, then I got the error message and could not open the SubVI anymore. I have attached the correpted VI. @RMathews

can you please tell me how to fix the VI myself in case it happens again?

Thank you very much!

Sincerely,

Xinru

I'm having the same problems. I've installed SP1 and altered the init file. Could someone fix this file? It would be greatly appreciated.
