LabVIEW load error code 3 when opening VI with LabVIEW 2010

I got this error when I try to open a VI saved in 8.6.1 with LabVIEW 2009 and 2010.

GenericError3.png

The VI open correctly with 8.6.1.

It's appening with only one VI. All other VIs are OK.

Anyone experience this problem?

What can I do to get over this bug?

More than likely the issue is that you have something on the front panel that the compiler cannot handle. This is sometimes caused by custom graphics. Do you have any of that on the front panel? If so, try removing them, see if the VI opens in LabVIEW 9/10 and then putting the graphic back in. If not, what do you have on the front panel? Care to share?

Finaly later last night I was able to open a new copy of the VI. I made a copy of the block diagram to a blank VI and copying the rest of the front panel element manualy with LabVIEW 8.6. After I was able to open this new VI with 2010.

Hi manu,

no, it's not the same issue!

Your VI already is converted to LV2011, so there is no upconversion needed. And yes, I get the error 3 too...

Best regards,
GerdW
