LabView Communications 2.0 installation error

Dear Sir/Madam,

Currently I facing an error during the installation of LabView Communications 2.0 which prevents the completion of the installation process of the program. During the installation of LabView Communications 2.0 on the computer, there is a step which mentions 'Currently excuting schedule to run the DoNGen.bat file' which keeps looping without any installation progress and at the same time a cmd window is opened requesting to start this DoNGen.bat file but without showing any progress in the installation at all as shown in the uploaded screenshots.

Please advise about how to solve this installation problem in order to install LabView Communications 2.0 on the computer smoothly.

Hi,

Probably this is an operating system problem and not NI-related.

Some questions:

1) Can you install the software on a different machine? Please try it on a computer with a different image.

2) Do you have any antivirus software running in the background which might block the installation of the .bat file?

3) What is your operating system?

4) Can you install any other NI software?

5) Are you running the installer as admin?

Hi,

That is really helpful. It turned out that the antivirus software was blocking LabView installation. After I had stopped the antivirus, the installation of the program went well.
