LabView and Carsim

I was wondering if anyone has ever worked with CarSim via LabView.  I am trying to get a better grasp on how to do this. I have read the examples on NI.com but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions so I could further my knowledge. Thank you for any help you can give.

Hi Jason,

We have a white-paper on using LabVIEW and CarSim that can get you started here:

HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Evaluation of Vehicle Components with LabVIEW Real-Time and CarSim/TruckSim

http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3415/en/

In addition, you can download the attached VI in this page as an example for reference here:

Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing using LabVIEW Real-Time and CarSim

http://www.ni.com/example/28151/en/

Hopefully this information can answer your questions.

Sincerely,

Hi Aldo_A

The pages are not found.

Would you please offer another website or documents?

I am in bad need of these materials.

 Very appreciate!

Hi Waddles,

I wasn’t able to find the exact documentation described above internally.  But I was able to find the following resources.  Hope they help.

CarSim Package Options

https://www.carsim.com/products/carsim/packages.php

Hardware-in-the-Loop and Real-Time Testing Techniques

http://southafrica.ni.com/sites/default/files/Hardware-in-the-Loop%20and%20Real-Time%20Testing%20Tec...

CarSim/TruckSim/BikeSim Real-Time Hardware In the Loop

http://www.ishinho.com/product/data/CarSimRT_Presentation.pdf

In the future, try to avoid posting to old Forum posts.  They get little visibility and often go unanswered.  Next time create a new forum post and reference the old one for context.

He might not be successful since VeriStand was introduced and obsoleted carsim etc.  .
