LabView control with Siskiyou MC1000e motion controller

Hi all,

We have a Siskiyou MC1000e motion controller with 3 motors conncted to the junction box and a controller (attached photoes).

We want to control the motors using a software (preferable Labview) and we want to know how to connect the junction box using the 15 pin D connector to the PC. In addition, we want to know if there are any available drivers for this motors that we can use or any LabView package that may help us.

Hi,

By reading the PDF of the Siskiyou controller, it looks like the Siskiyou system is a closed system for manual control, it was not intended for PC control.  If you're looking for a motion control with LabVIEW, you can check out GECO Motion: https://geco-lv.com/geco-motion.html.  With a little work, it could probably integrate with your existing motors.
