Labview 2015 addons unable to download

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all, I had purchase Labview 2015 back then, recently I have been facing some issues downloading some addons on LabVIEW
I had attached the picture on the issue. I had tried to use the Ni.help but after i insert serial number on the back of the Product file It show my serial number was not found.
For the modbus module i had downloaded but it say the module was created after my version of labview which causes me failed to install the addons
Modbus module:

If you use JKI VI Package Manager to install the modbus module you will see:

- that there are multiple Modbus Libraries, including one from NI itself

- that there are usually multiple versions of those libraries, that VIPM usually can provide you with a selection of and it disables the versions that are not compatible with your LabVIEW version (if the packager for that library set the compatibility flags correctly)

As to licensing, the only thing that really should need licensing is the LabVIEW installation itself. But, serial numbers get coupled with an account when you first activate them, so if you log in with a different account now than what you used back then, the serial number is not automatically available for you current account. You may have to contact technical support to transfer the serial number or find the old account that you used back then. And if it is a serial number that was leaked on the net, NI may have disabled it for good. In that case you would need some proof of your purchase back then in order to get a new activation.

This is the technical support ( Rebecca Wong (rebecca.wong@ni.com)) i contacted last time but now the email is forbidden I tried to use https://www.ni.com/my-support/s/service-requests but it ask me to provide the service id or serial number. I ask my older colleague they are not aware of the service id and the serial number is not working also.
