Labview 2025 Q3 (64bit) and SDI Plugin Bosch Rexroth

Hi,

we bought the Labview 2025 Q3 (64bit)  license and we are porting old version application (labview 2017) to new version. I have a problem with SDI plugin Bosch Rexroth package. I can not install. Is there a solution ?

Thank you

This should be a SoftMotion add-on.

SoftMotion was updated last for "2020" and isn't (officially) supported on LV2025.

Did you (try to) install SoftMotion yet?

Are you sure?

Does it show up in "installed software" (MAX) or on the functions palette?

Did you also install SoftMotion on your cRIO?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi,

I haven't got the plc now, but I had no error when open my project in previous labview version.

What was the older LabVIEW version?

Did you (try to) install SoftMotion for the new version?

Hi,

What was the older LabVIEW version? Labview2017

I have attached the ni package manager screen.

I still don't see if you really installed the SoftMotion package. All I see is a big green "Install" button in this image…

Can you open MAX and show the "Software" tree? This is the place to see the installed software, atleast in older LabVIEW versions…

(I think, NI-PM will also show the installed packages on a single list.)

I fear that SoftMotion2020 package does not know about any LabVIEW version newer than LV2020, so even when you install that package it will not place the drivers into the correct places for your LV2025 installation.

As you should have support for your recent LabVIEW version: why don't you ask the NI support for your specific problem?

Best regards,
GerdW
