I have had exactly the same issues and share your feelings.
I worked at NI some 20 years ago and was able to contact some high-level old timers I knew from then.
They are very much aware of this embarrassing issue, and are working on it.

Turning off IPV6 worked for me on Labview Community Edition but it did not work for Labview NXG Community Edition so that is still not registered. Thus system is really rubbish. I've sent an email to registration@ni.com for help but of course received no response.
Hi Gibsonmb,
I had the same problem with NXG 5.1. I got the "There is no license associated with your NI User account." message when I tried to activate it. So I tried NXG 5.0 and it worked. I then tried 5.1 again and it didn't work, so I went back to 5.0. I don't know if this will solve anybodies problem but it may be worth a try.
Thanks

The solution that worked for me with LVCE 2020 SP1 was to disable the IPV6 protocol in Windows 10 settings, making sure that IPV4 was enabled, delete all NI software, re-download, and then re-install. After doing this the activation from account in the NI License manager worked perfectly.
This solution was provided to me by Ricardo at NI support.
Thanks,
George

I have got the same problem, but with LabVIEW 2020 SP1 full edition. I have installing that program on my PC with Windows 10 and at the end of the install process I received information that I should Log in to Activate. I have serial number, so I thought that I will be able to put that code after login to system, but LabVIEW crashes at that moment.
Then I re-installed all NI programs with disconnected IPv6, but it still does not work. I try to log in via NI License Maganger and I have the same problem. At the picture I presented at what moment it crashes. What can I do with that issue?

I'm trying to install on Mint Linux and there the installation went ok. This took some messing around with the JDK that would make LabVIEW install and start properly. I got it to try to start enough to ask for license activation. I eventually got to where I logged in to my account but the activation failed with the following message:
Unable to verify LabVIEW Community Edition entitlement.
Please login to ni.com and redownload LabVIEW Community Edition.
I did the redownload step and then tried to run again (without doing a reinstall) but the same message appeared. I think there was some progress in that the splash screen shows a Computer ID and I think it didn't previously. When I look at the products I am licensed for, LabVIEW Community Edition, Linux, Subscription license appears.
Because I am on Linux, there is no NI License Manager installation option for me as NI License Manager doesn't exist for Linux.

Hi NI Community, please can someone help.
I have an issue that is not described in any of the other posts regarding activation issues with the 2020 CE edition. I have tried to activate within Licence Manager & through the Labview first load up activation screen on 2x different laptops, one running Windows 10 Home & this one running Windows 10 Pro. Every time I enter my login details, the same screen appears after i click 'Login' and nothing ever happens (a loading circle appears that does not disappear, even after being left overnight). I have tried disabling the Ipv6 (changing to Ipv4) setting in my computers network settings with no luck. I have uninstalled 2020 & then installed 2020 SP1, again i cannot activate it, arrrrrgggghhh! Someone please help. Attached are the images of the 'Log in to activate' loading screens that don't do anything:
There is no contact telephone number to call about the issue.
Kind regards

Try logging into NI through your web browser and keep it open while you try to activate. It seems that this satisfies the need for logging in through your installer and sidesteps some frustrating issues.
Edit:
I guess all you have to do is come to this forum as yourself. 🙂

Hi,
I use Linux OS - ubuntu 20.4 - and I also experience a problem with activation of the CE.
I insatlled the program using the installation provided in the downloaded .iso, the installation seemingly went fine, as no error was prompt during the process, then an activation popup window prompt me to activeate the product using my NI ID:
When pressing on the Activation button im being transfered to a log in page on my web browser. I insert my email & password and after 15 sec of waiting the next messages are being shown:
i.e the website says i have been authenticated successfully, but the LV program says it is unable to verify my ID.
Any idea how to solve it? as far as i know i use IPv4 so the IPv6 trick doesnt apply here. I also tried to uninstall and redownload and reinstall, but with no success.
Any solutions will be much appriciated

I found a solution. If anybody interested I elaborated the fix in this post:
I used an answer found on askubuntu and basically followed it so credit to the original fixer.

Labview Community 2020 worked for a few months.
Then, it asked me to reactivate but this time it failed.
I would rather use my Labview Home 2014 but it is slower than Labview 2020. 😣
