Labview Evaluation software

Dear All,

With only Labview evaluation software, can any measurements, data acquisition, analysis be done?

When i searched for example .vi ,  i couldnt find any file for simple voltage-current measurement.

Also, when i tried to build a new .VI, many of the 'icons/items' are inactive.

Thats why i am asking this question. Is Labview evaluation is similar to the Complete software set OR only a DEMO version ??

The evaluation download is fully functional. Did you install any of the device drivers? You don't mention the hardware you want to use to make a voltage measurement. For example, to use an NI DAQ board, you will need DAQmx from the device drivers. Installing this and some of the other drivers will give you functions on the LabVIEW palette as well as additional example VIs.
