Hi i seem to be running into some problems with my project having just upgraded to LV 2011.
It seemed to be working ok for a bit - but after having done quite a bit of development work I ended up with it crashing and after that i had a VI that was corrupted so that the project crashed on loading. I removed the suspect VI, and again it seemed to work okish, but since then i seem to keep crashing because of running out of memory. Not sure if it is because i am using more queue references than before. When i load up again it acts funny and i'm getting an error like this:
Labview Generic error
An error occured loading VI NILVFPGAAdjustHostInterfaceError.vi load error code 23: there is not enough memory to load this vi.
Has anyone seen anything like this before - any tips on what it might be. Can't work out if:
1 there is something wrong with my new code so that the queue references get out of control and end up causing a memory leak.
2 something went odd when I upgraded the project. - I am also getting some odd effects where controls used in FPGA vis aren't been found when they are used in vis on the host computer.
3 Something else.
Thanks,
JP

Hello JP,
This is Dan Vickers here, I am an Applications Engineer here at NI UK.
Normally when you see this error code 23 this points to a corrupt file, do you still have a copy of the VI/ project from before converting it to 2011. If you do I would be happy to convert this to 2011 if you wish and see if that helps at all.
Also if you can supply some screen shots of the errors you are getting that might help me diagnose this.
Kind Regards

I get similar problem of Labview 2011 failing to start properly after a crash. I get "an error occureed loading VI "_NoButton'. Labview error code 23. There is not enough memory to load this VI.
The funny thing is that I have deleted the LabView .ini file to clear the cache of recently used files/projects but LabView keeps showing the wait icon forever after the splash screen and never really
takes away the wait icon.

Hello Dan Vickers
I am having the same issue with LabVIEW 2016. I got the message "the file niLvFpgaAdjustHostInterfaceError.vi could not be loaded" when attempting to open an FPGA file. I have a CRIO running in FPGA mode.
When I click the run button (arrow) nothing happens!!.. it is just as I did not click the button. Any help would be granted.
I attach you a printscreen of the message I get when creating a new project from scratch, and then click the discover target button
